This is the second album in the trilogy. It describes the journey we have made from the old world (Europe) to the new (The Americas). It reflects my personal journey. Moreover it compares the differences in the way North America, (with its ideals of personal freedoms and meritocracy), and South America, (which was developed on theological imperialism) in the way that they developed. That is the lyrical aspect of the album.
Musically it shows the beginning of a more techno orientated band. New elements are added here such as Dave Eggar's cello and Adrian Harpham's fatback New Orleans drum style. THird International has changeds from its lineup on the first outing, and will change again, but this is a singularity to be enjoyed that we are very pleased with.
